| $60 Setup Fee. All DSL fees for Frontier DSL are paid to SpiritOne. There are no additional monthly fees paid directly to Frontier for DSL service. Frontier DSL Modems
SpiritOne provides two models of DSL modem for use with Frontier DSL:
- Zoom X3 DSL modem -- $55.00
Can be used to share a single DSL connection with multiple computers, or can be configured as a transparent bridge. Since this modem has a single ethernet port, using the modem as a router will require additional equipment (hub or a switch).
- Zoom X6 DSL modem -- $95.00
802.11b/g wireless ready. Support for WPA and 64-bit or 128-bit WEP encryption. Can be used to share a DSL connection with multiple computers either wirelessly or via ethernet. This modem has four ethernet ports and can support up to four devices without additional hardware (except for cables).
All modems purchased from SpiritOne are pre-programmed with all necessary settings. Modems can either be picked up from our office, or shipped via USPS for an additional $10.
