These are the instructions will guide you through the process of setting up the mail program MS Outlook 2000 for use with SpiritOne.

  1. In Outlook 2000, click on the Tools menu and select Accounts.
  2. To set up a new mail account, click the Add button and select Mail.

  3. For Display Name, enter your full name the way you want it to appear when you send email.
  4. Click Next.
  5. For E-mail address, enter your SpiritOne email address.
  6. Click Next.
  7. For My incoming mail server is a ____ server, make sure POP3 is selected.
  8. For Incoming Mail (POP3 or IMAP) Server and, Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server, enter the mail server name from the sidebar on the left.
  9. Click Next.
  10. For Account Name, enter your login name for your SpiritOne mail account.
  11. For Password, enter your mail password. If you want to have Outlook Express remember your password, check the Remember Password box.
  12. Click Next.
  13. If you dial in to SpiritOne to check your mail, select Connect using my phone line.
  14. Click Next.
  15. If you are prompted to select a modem, use the pull-down arrow to select the modem you use when you connect to the Internet.
  16. Click Next.
  17. Click Finish, then click Close to close the Accounts window.
  18. You're done! You can now send and receive email through SpiritOne using Outlook 2000.
