These instructions will guide you through configuring the Macintosh OS X Mail program (ver.1.3) for use with SpiritOne.

  1. On the dock, click on the Mail icon.
  2. Go to the Mail menu and select Preferences.
  3. Hit the Plus (+) sign in the bottom left corner of the window.
  4. Choose POP as the Account Type.
  5. In the Description box, enter a name for the account. The name of the account is up to you. What you name the account has no effect on the operation of your mail program.
  6. Enter your SpiritOne email address in the Email Address box.
  7. In the Full Name box, enter your name.
  8. Enter the incoming mail server from the sidebar on the right in the Incoming Mail Server box.
  9. In the User Name box, enter your SpiritOne username.
  10. Enter your password in the Password box.
  11. In the pull-down next to Outgoing Mail, choose Add Server.
  12. Enter the outgoing mail server from the sidebar on the right in the Outgoing Mail Server box.
  13. Do not change any of the other settings.
  14. Hit OK.
  15. Close the window to save the changes.
  16. That's it! OS X Mail is now configured to use SpiritOne.
