Windows Vista Dial-up Configuration

These are the instructions for configuring Windows Vista to connect via dial-up to SpiritOne.

  1. Click on the Windows button and select Connect ToVista dialup screenshot
  2. From the Show drop-down menu, choose Dial-up and VPN.
  3. Click on Set up a connection or network.Vista dialup screenshot
  4. Choose Connect to the Internet.

  7. In the Dial-up phone number field, type the correct phone number for your area code and city, found at the top of this page.
  8. In the User name box, type your entire SpiritOne or Aracnet email address in all lower-case letters.
  9. In the Password field, type your SpiritOne password.
  10. Check the Remember Password box.
  11. In the Connection name box, type "SpiritOne."

  13. At this point, if your phone line is available and everything is plugged in correctly, you'll be connected to the Internet. If you're unable to connect, you'll see the following screen.Vista dialup screenshot
  14. Select Set up the connection anyway.Vista dialup screenshot
  15. Hit Close.
  16. That should do it! Your computer is now configured to connect to SpiritOne via a dial-up connection.
